Gelwaay Foundation. is a nonprofit and non-political social organization committed to advancing socio-economical status of the people in South central Somalia at large and South-west state in Specific. It was established in 18th February 2025 by a group of concerned professionals who realized the impacts of the climate shocks affecting rural production. Gelwaay Foundation. is therefore committed to provide programs answering to the community's basic needs that are relevant on the current situation in Somalia. It is open to all no matter which race, tribe or color the person possesses. In accordance with the purpose of Gelwaay inception and its existence. Abbreviated as GFS, Gelwaay works to improve access to basic services such as education, healthcare, and clean water in conflict-affected areas. By partnering with international organizations and government agencies, GFS helps to strengthen infrastructure and build capacity for sustainable development.
